• (Senior) QA Engineer

  • Overview

    The Senior QA Engineer is a key team member responsible for the quality assurance of new, pilot product features and cross-product solutions that address specific customer business cases.

    In this role you will be exposed to technologies and projects in the Managed File Transfer, B2B process automation, security and networking fields on various platforms.


    • Understanding, assessment and analysis of explicit and implicit customer requirements.
    • Designing testing strategies and planning testing activities.
    • Implementation and execution of functional and automated test cases.
    • Identifying issues and prioritizing them based on root-cause analysis and risk assessment.
    • Contribution to the evolution of our testing infrastructure, development process and knowledge base.
    • Participation in requirement clarification and design discussions.
    • Participation in deployment and post-implementation support, including occasional direct communication with technical customer representatives.
    • Sharing knowledge and project-specific information with other team-members.


    • Strong analytical skills and common sense.
    • Excellent command of English language – both written and verbal.
    • Experience in Software Testing.
    • Experience with Linux and Windows OS platforms administration.
    • Experience with shell scripting or a programming language.
    • Experience with TCP/IP networks – basic setup, administration and troubleshooting.
    • Experience with commonly used transport protocols - HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, AS2
    • Basic experience with relational databases and SQL.
    • Basic knowledge of cryptography principles and commonly used encryption standards.
    • Knowledge of web-service data exchange technologies - REST/SOAP.
    • Knowledge of OOP principles, software development practices, tools and methodologies.
    • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.

    • Experience with Java monitoring, performance tuning, debugging and profiling tools.
    • Experience with relational databases - administration, schema design and query optimization.
    • Knowledge of Java programming language.
    • University degree in Computer Science/Informatics or equivalent.
