    We are looking for an IT Manager to join our IT Intfrastucture team.  


    The IT Infrastructure team is responsible for the design, deployment and operation of the IT services for Axway worldwide. This does include in all Axway offices the (W)LAN, WAN, telephony, conferencing and collaboration tools (email, IM, etc.), laptops/desktop/smartphones and corresponding software & supporting services, core IT services (DNS, DHCP, authentication), lab servers & virtualization infrastructure, business applications hosting (including cloud services management, on-premise servers, storage and operating systems, databases, application servers and middleware).

    The team also handles the global procurement of IT services, equipment and software, as well as the Infrastructure aspects of the Information Security Management System (IT Security).




    Together with his team (2 people in FR and US), the Devices team manager is the subject matter expert and main point of contact for everything related to end user devices (laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, etc.), including corresponding accessories and supporting services. He is responsible for the operation and evolution of the latter, including Antivirus infrastructure, device management, client software deployment & updates, workstations imaging, asset inventories & audits, etc. He organizes the day to day activity of his team, structure and supervises the projects in their scope, and stays on top of the technology evolutions.


    Together with our IT helpdesk team, he is providing support to our internal users, and with his direct reports he is taking over the troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues (L3).


    In direct contact with the user community, its management and our suppliers, he is in the unique position to define and evolve our technology choices, and process and dispatch the requests for new equipment or replacement (either individually or as part of our asset lifecycle).


    Representing his team and scope of operation, he participates in the various IT governance bodies and processes, including change advisory board, budget and forecast updates, weekly status, etc.


    Qualifications, experience

    • 5 to 10 years of experience in a IT role, client device oriented
    • Significant experience in a mid-size enterprise environment is mandatory, preferably international/distributed
    • Prior experience in a supervisor position is necessary, 2 to 3 years of management would be a plus
    • Very good technical knowledge of the end user devices space :
      • Windows/MacOS/Linux Operating Systems; IOS and Android mobile device operating systems
      • Laptop/Desktops, tablets and smartphone platform technologies, hardware and accessories
      • Workstation and device management tools and practices
      • Microsoft Office and main productivity applications
      • TCP/IP networking,
      • Device based security concepts, techniques and products
      • Client-based scripting (Windows/PowerShell/bash)
    • Successfully manage time and technical responsibilities, set accurate expectations, track progress and meet deliverable deadlines while working in a distributed, multi-cultural team environment;
    • Experience working in a diverse global environment with the ability to be flexible where business drivers dictate;

    • Ability to adapt to a very dynamic and evolving environment, with a majority of interactions with IT professionals
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adjust communication style/content to interact with IT and business professionals.
    • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, prioritization, organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical skills to determine the key pieces of information required to make informed decisions. The ability to utilize data analysis tools such as MS Excel (e.g. pivot tables, etc.).
    • Project management skills and experience would be a plus



    • Associate degree (DUT, BAC+2) in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent industry work experience.
    • Microsoft certifications on client based technologies and operating systems would be a plus (MCSA: Windows 10, and/or MCSE: Mobility)
